Emma Laube, Speech Pathologist

Meet Emma, our passionate Speech Pathologist

Emma has gained a wide range of experience working with children with communication difficulties since graduating with a Bachelor of Science, Speech Pathology in 2003 from Flinders University, South Australia. Emma is a member of Speech Pathology Australia and is a certified practicing Speech Pathologist.  Emma has worked as a Speech Pathologist supporting children in the Education Department, Child and Youth Mental Health services and Private Practice.

Emma has a keen interest in severe motor speech disorders such as Childhood Apraxia of Speech and has had training and experience in this area including the implementation of techniques such as PROMPT, Nancy Kaufman's Speech to Language Protocol, Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) and direct teaching and professional development from David Hammar and Dr Edythe Strand.

Emma is a Hanen certified Speech Pathologist in the parent training program "It Takes Two to Talk".

Following from personal experiences as a parent of children requiring Orofacial Myology Emma has developed a special interest and trained in Orofacial Myology through The Australian Orofacial Myology Collaboration. This training enables a holistic assessment and treatment of Paediatric Speech Sound disorders.

Emma is known for her playful, fun filled sessions that engage children to participate and learn to their full potential. Emma is passionate about providing evidence based therapy techniques that help your child’s inner voice shine!
